Waiver
Climb Up Safety Waiver & Release of
Liability
By accessing or using the facilities, equipment, or services at Climb Up, you acknowledge,
understand, and agree to the following terms:
1. Assumption of Risk
Indoor bouldering and related gym activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited
to:
● falling from height
● improper landings
● collisions with other climbers
● equipment failure
● physical strain
● environmental hazards
These risks may cause serious injury, disability, property damage, or death.
Entering Climb Up constitutes voluntary acceptance of all such risks, whether known or
unknown.
2. Physical Condition & Medical Authorization
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally able to take part
safely in climbing activities.
Climb Up staff may provide reasonable first aid and contact emergency medical services if
needed. Participants are responsible for any medical costs incurred.
3. Release of Liability & Indemnification
Climb Up, its owners, employees, contractors, route-setters, and volunteers are released
from any and all liability, including negligence, arising from:
● participation in climbing activities
● use of the facility or equipment
● injuries involving other participants
● property loss or damage
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Climb Up from any claims made by others
as a result of their actions or conduct within the facility.
4. Personal Responsibility
Participants agree to:
● follow all posted rules and staff instructions
● climb within their own ability and comfort level
maintain safe and respectful behavior
● avoid unsafe conduct such as running, rough play, or equipment misuse
Violation of rules may result in removal from the facility without refund.
5. Equipment & Rental Gear
Any equipment rented, borrowed, or used at Climb Up, including climbing shoes, chalk bags,
or accessories, is used at the participant’s own risk.
Climb Up is not responsible for injuries or damages resulting from equipment misuse or
unexpected malfunction.
6. Photo & Media Release
Photos or videos may be taken during sessions, classes, or events for use in social media,
marketing, website content, and printed materials.
Security camera footage is never used for marketing.
7. Rule Updates
Climb Up may update its rules, safety guidelines, or operational policies at any time.
Participants are expected to follow the most current version.
8. Severability
If any part of this waiver is deemed invalid, the remaining sections continue to apply and
remain enforceable.
9. Governing Law
This waiver is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and any disputes shall
be resolved within Saudi jurisdiction.
10. Minors (Under 17 Years Old)
If a participant is under 17 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must review this waiver
and accept full responsibility for the minor’s participation, including:
● acknowledging all risks on the minor’s behalf
● granting permission for the minor to participate in climbing activities
● accepting all terms outlined in this waiver
● releasing Climb Up from liability related to the minor’s participation.
